Who wouldn't want to be us? Wednesday, June 27, 2012. In which I reveal an allergy. A few weeks ago a curious thing happened. I ate some of the first watermelon of the season shipped fresh to Alaska on a 3 week voyage from some southern hemisphere country. Afterwards my lips started to tingle. And maybe slightly burn. Who wouldn't want to be us? Sunday, July 29, 2012. Somehow I blinked and my sweet, chubby, blond baby grew up into this handsome, dark, curly haired young man. Carter turned 15 last week. Got his driver's permit and will be a sophomore this fall. I swear I was just doing these exact same things yesterday! Little do they know how his cheeks used to be so chubby they bounced when he ran. And he used to call tunnels "the loo," and drove his Thomas train through the Loo and around the figure 8 track for hours.

How many POllocks does it take to change a light bulb? Saturday, October 31, 2009. This year Halloween was a little different. Since Paige and Kyla are now in Middle School, they don't have the traditional halloween party. So, I'm down to only 2 kids for parties. : ) Randon was a coyote hunter and Karissa was a Pez dispenser. Pretty simple costumes. Phew! For our ward Trunk-or-Treat, Clint and the girls were Howie and the Deal or No Deal Girls and Randon was still a hunter. Thursday, October 29, 2009.

How many POllocks does it take to change a light bulb? Tuesday, August 25, 2009. 1st Day of School 2009. My kids have great teachers once again this year. Randon is in Mrs. Branstetter's 1st Grade Class; Karissa is in Mrs. Marshall's 3rd Grade Class (Paige had her in 3rd grade too); and Kyla is in Mrs. Thompson's 5th Grade Class (Paige had her last year). They are all SUPER teachers! We feel very fortunate and know that a lot of learning and growing will take place this year. Wednesday, August 5, 2009.

Thanks for all the calls, cards and presents! Beth and Bjorn were there and brought the bigger than Hank teddy bear. Our friends the Waites came. Carson and Lauren. Hank caught on pretty quick to the unwrapping. I guess he was wrong. Some what of a let down. So we just tore it open and all was forgotten as the candy and toys fell.
