From the Peach to the Bird's Nest. Saturday, August 9, 2008. First day of the Games. The opening ceremony was absolutely spectacular! The weather on the first day of the Games was not bad at all. We actually saw the blue sky and white clouds in the afternoon. It was so sunny that I wore my sun glasses most of the day. The air was still a little smoggy though. But before I go, I want to tell you the chicken soup is really good. I have never had half a chicken for breakfast before, and not sure it's most healthy thing to do. But I don't regret a bit.
