The Church lies on the south-west approach to the village of Nigg, in the county of Ross and Cromarty. Approximately 35 miles drive north of Inverness, it can also be reached using the car ferry which runs from Cromarty in the summer months. In the area are a number of other sites of interest. The Shandwick Pictish stone is 4 miles away, and museums at Tain, Cromarty and Rosemarkie further explore the local history.

Nigg Old Trust 25th Anniversary. On Sunday 3rd July a special service was held at Nigg Old Church to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the formation of Nigg Old Trust. Doug Budge and the trustees set out the following aims.
