Monday, November 23, 2015. I walked into the house and dropped my keys. I was starving after working all day in a kindergarten class. As I rummaged through the fridge, my phone began going crazy with messages. Had I seen the news? I had not, but when I did my heart was broken and the tears would not cease. All of those people, just living life- gone. Enjoying dinner in a restaurant, at a game with family, dancing with their friends at a concert, just gone. It could have happened at any time, to anyone.
