Monday, August 27, 2012. One of the first things I did when I moved to BBos was to invest in some chickens. I had no idea how attached one becomes to your chooks. They have been roaming around the village, crossing the street to visit the café across the road and generally treat the village as their own personal back yard. Bbos is home to the famous Baardskeerdersbos Orkes, a banjo, guitar, concertina and accordion ensemble, playing traditional boere musiek. Oom Manie is the main man. Saturday, 31 December 2016. 2016 has been quite a year, I started a new digital marketing job, had some amazing trips around the UK to The New Forest. Norfolk, Rye, Oxford and stayed in a yurt in Sussex. I also learnt how to crochet, got an allotment and dyed my hair pink. Work wise, I began stocking some of my card designs in Paperchase and Scribbler via Whale and Bird. I worked on an exciting project for Lucky Dip Club.
