Ancient 400 hour Pryamid. Nimbin Candles is now a family run business dedicated to keeping the dying craft of candle making alive and well into the new millennium. (Most Commercially produced candles are manufactured in China or Thailand using huge molded candle machines producing 500,000 candles at a time using inferior wax and wicks stiffened with zinc). People who use our candles continuously tell us they would not burn anything else. Q1:Why do you use paraffin wax, isn? How long does your irons last?

Ancient 400 hour Pryamid. Nimbin Candles has been welcoming tourist to its factory in the old churn room of the historic Butter factory in Nimbin since 1990. We have featured on such Australian Travel shows as The Great Outdoors and Getaway we ve even featured on the German Getaway show and most resently, 'Travel Oz' and 'Sydney Weekend' with Mike Whitney. We have large tour groups of 65, School groups, craft clubs, pensioner groups as well as small family groups visiting the factory.

Ancient 400 hour Pryamid. All our candles have an approximate burn time, however to get the most out of your candles it is recommended to keep the wick trimmed to 10mm at all times. This allows the candle to burn at its intended rate. If you leave the wick long it will create a longer than required flame, causing it to burn hotter than necessary, reducing the candles burn time. Remove all stickers and packaging from your candle prior to lighting, even the sticker on the base. Use an extinguisher or snuff...
