March 28, 2014. Brindle's First Birthday Party. Brindle likes to extend her birthday like I do ;). I decided to do a "little Indian" party. Native American stuff is big right now so I knew I'd have a lot of inspiration to look at. I went pretty simple, though. I had been really wanting to buy Brindle a teepee for her first birthday but have you ever looked at how much those cost? She wasn't so sure about making a big mess, especially with everyone staring at her. And so easy to make. What a fun party!

November 29, 2010. Christmas Music is ON! Is playing, I'm drinking coffee and feeling festive! Except the ache in my back from the hotel bed last weekend.). We all had Thanksgiving dinner at my Aunt Jenny's house and it was the first time in a long time we had a homecooked meal instead of catered. It was so good! January 22, 2014. Wow, let's pretend that November 12th isn't the date I last posted, please? Life has been great, hectic, nerve-racking, joyful, warm, uncertain. all sorts of things since my last post. Since then, I have quit my job, gone through the end of harvest, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Deer season, my birthday, my first dance class, and my first week to really be at home as a "stay at home" mom (who incidentally don't actually stay at home much). February 25, 2011. So this week has been a little crazy. Monday, bible study (lovin this new study! Tuesday, cotton seed meeting with Kanyon and Uncle Dan and Aunt Rhnea. Read a book during it. Got free dinner. Wednesday, stayed up at work to help lead a discussion with the girls in youth group about sex. It was awkward. Not because it was about sex. July 25, 2011. A few of my best college girl friends came to Welch for a girl's weekend the last few days and it was so fun, hilarious, relaxing. lots. Heather came from Midland, Kaelyn came from Dallas, and Lauren came from Abilene! Friday night, I made my mom's "Chicken and White Wine Sauce" for dinner and picked up an Angel Food cake with whipped cream and strawberries for dessert. I love that dessert.
