As you can see I tried to make it homey by adding some greenish pastel floor rugs together with extra soft Egyptian cotton towels from John Lewis. I’ve thrown in a few ornaments from around the world; like these orange and purple Buddha’s from Burma and Maria Guadalupe statue from Mexico. A few frames around are handovers and mostly car both items. And here comes the bonus!

Friday, 30 August 2013. Long time, no post! Oh my goodness me the time has certainly flown this year, my poor neglected little blog! I thought I'd pop on and say hi and that I haven't dropped off the face of the earth! I wish I could say that the time has flown because I was busy having fun but the truth is that this year has been a bit stressful to be honest! I also made a keepsake box and card with a lovely little verse on. I can't wait for more cuddles now. Hubby and I are hoping to have a holiday soo...

Here is the first one I created, in a tea cup that was used on our wedding day and complete with the sentiment from our wedding invitations. I was really pleased with how it turned out. I even managed to use some of the surplus material that we had brought to make the bridesmaid accessories with, that was the same as their dresses.
