1200 ends is a lot of ends to thread | Centerweave
https://centerweave.wordpress.com/2015/04/20/1200-ends-is-a-lot-of-ends-to-thread
My journey into the world of weaving. 1200 ends is a lot of ends to thread. April 20, 2015. I took advantage of having a day off and thought I could complete the threading. As I neared the last bunch of ends, I realized it was two off. Sigh. So I began to check, from the beginning. The error was, of course, about half way through. An unfortunate repeat. So I added two heddles and have been unthreading in order to rethread. I’m about where I was when I started this morning! April 23, 2015 at 9:50 am.

Weaver’s Swap 2009 | Blueberry Lane
https://avoncalling.wordpress.com/2009/09/05/45
Observations and creative expressions. Weaver’s Swap 2009. September 5, 2009. I recently had the good fortune to have been in a Weaver’s Swap that Dave Daniels (www.TheWeavingStudio.com). And Benita Story (www.basicallybenita.com) created. The challenge was as follows:. Weave a cotton fabric, choosing our own pattern draft and colors. The fabric was to measure two yards by 12″ to 18″ wide. Mail this fabric to our swap partners. Each participant was to cut off a yard and keep it. I love this bag! Http:/ w...

Observations and creative expressions. Can I Buy a Vowel? September 8, 2009. One morning last week, my lovely daughter called and said “Do you want tickets to see Wheel Of Fortune”? Heck yeah- I’m always up for an adventure! She couldn’t attend the taping so my adventuresome brother and I headed into the Boston Convention Center. Chances of me attending a conference are pretty slim so going inside that huge building was an added bonus. Once we found area B2 and passed through security, we were in. During...

She didn’t care that they were a bit crooked. On to knitting and sewing my own clothes. Then sewing casual and heirloom clothes (think smocked!

Adventures in Weaving and Other Things. Archive for September, 2009. It’s Greek to Me! On September 10, 2009 1 Comment. I have the good fortune to belong to two great weaving guilds. One is the NOBO Handweavers of Newburyport, MA. We formed just a little over a year ago and it blows me away how wonderful this group is. Starting at 10:00 AM there are morning workshops. Then there’s a lunch break (and a quick trip to their extensive library! Some business and finally a wonderful afternoon speaker. Marjie i...
