Forever Searching: March 2009
http://destroyinghopes.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 17 March 2009. I love this record, I love this band. Horror Show are one of the two bands that I actually really care about collecting all of their records and making my life complete, well nearly. This record came up on Ebay a month ago? As soon as I saw it I knew it was going to be mine, I was digging deep and bidding hard, even though times were tough. I haven't seen one of these come up on Ebay in a long time, maybe even years? Horror Show - Our Design [Red /100]. So close, but so far. This ...

Cliché Vinyl: Middle Class – Out of Vogue
http://clichevinyl.blogspot.com/2009/07/as-this-blog-is-about-hardcore-vinyl-i.html
Sunday, 26 July 2009. Middle Class – Out of Vogue. As this blog is about hardcore vinyl, I thought I should start it off with this record. Middle Class – Out of Vogue 7” on Joke Records 1978. Arguably this is the first ever hardcore record ever made. This was pressed in 1978 by the label Joke Records. Joke Records was ran by Billy Star. There seems to be a few versions of this record; one with yellow labels and one with Silver labels. 30 November 2010 at 03:09. Im looking for the lyrics to Situations.

Cliché Vinyl: Youth of Today – Break Down the Walls - Wishingwell Press
http://clichevinyl.blogspot.com/2009/07/youth-of-today-break-down-walls.html
Tuesday, 28 July 2009. Youth of Today – Break Down the Walls - Wishingwell Press. I love this release and you know it sounds better on Wishingwell! Why are these colour Versions so hard to find? Here’s the legendary story behind the mythical record. So what happened to rest of the records? Therefore it is my beliefs that there are around 150 – 125 left of each colour now. After digging through some flyers, I found this Youth of Today record release flyer, for the Break down the release show! Love to hear...

Cliché Vinyl: 08/02/09
http://clichevinyl.blogspot.com/2009_08_02_archive.html
Sunday, 2 August 2009. Youth of Today – Can’t Close My Eyes - Batman press. After writing about the classic Youth of Today – break down the walls release on wishingwell, I thought I should follow up with another classic Youth of Today record, the “Can’t close my eyes” 7”. In a lot of the early releases Revelation records would put in hand made fliers asking people to trade toys for rare revelation records. Here a just a couple of fliers I dug out:. On the b-side you will find a black batman stamp, this s...

Never Ending Game: EARTH AD, HOLY GRAIL!
http://neverendinggame-lins87.blogspot.com/2011/04/misfits-earth-ad-lp-clear-vinyl.html
Lins 87 Record Collecting Blog. Sunday, 10 April 2011. EARTH AD, HOLY GRAIL! The Misfits Earth AD, possibly one of the greatest hardcore records ever recorded? Another main difference with this version is the lighter purple sleeve as is shown against the more regular darker sleeve below:. Funnily enough most of these pressing are streaked due to the fact Danzig would drop colour pellets into each mix whilst visiting the record plant to witness his work being made into vinyl! 10 April 2011 at 12:14. 10 Ap...

Never Ending Game: BOSTON CREW PART 1
http://neverendinggame-lins87.blogspot.com/2010/12/fus-kill-for-christ-lp.html
Lins 87 Record Collecting Blog. Thursday, 2 December 2010. BOSTON CREW PART 1. Had this for a while now and in my eyes another Boston Hardcore classic. Apparently there are two pressings of this here record with the main difference being the size of the letters on the labels! Fast and hectic, this record blazes, but unfortunately suffers due to the really thin productioN. The cover art is another classic Pushead drawing.has he ever done a bad piece of art I ask myself! This is one of the surprising Rev Recs FINAL presses that somehow is now a FINAL FINAL press! Oh well it looks great.a modern love storyyyyyyyy! 17 April 2011 at 04:15. Cam - Y...

Never Ending Game: EVIL AND LIVE
http://neverendinggame-lins87.blogspot.com/2011/07/misfits-evilive-12-clear-green.html
Lins 87 Record Collecting Blog. Monday, 4 July 2011. Here we have the infamous Evilive 12 inch version of the same titled ep. This is another of the 1987 caroline reissues and only 2000 were pressed on clear green wax. A very small number of these have black streaks in them and although mine doesn't it does have a number of green streaks running through it. Not sure of the significance or rarity (if any) of that but thought I'd mention it. 4 July 2011 at 23:22. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Double ...
