http://beasbookblog.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 31, 2010. Book Review: Not That Kind of Girl. Not That Kind of Girl. 2010) by Siobhan Vivian. So many other bloggers have highlighted the best parts of this book more eloquently than I can, so I'll keep it short. The best thing about this book is the way it explores the complexity of feminism and empowerment. I really like the concept for the novel and enjoyed it as a story, but I honestly wasn't that moved by it. I bought it expecting to really like it- a lot-. Not That Kind of Girl.

Bea's Book Blog: Book Review: The Earth, My Butt, & Other Big Round Things
http://beasbookblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/book-review-earth-my-butt-other-big.html
Sunday, January 2, 2011. Book Review: The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things. The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things. 2003) by Carolyn Mackler. Virginia Shreves has a larger-than-average body and a plus-size inferiority complex. She lives on the Web, snarfs junk food, and obeys the "Fat Girl Code of Conduct." Then there are the other. This book is superb; there are so many things to like about it! Like E. Lockhart's Frankie. Thankfully, The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things.
