Amazon - David Phillips
http://davidphillips.livejournal.com/8428.html
Amazon - David Phillips. Aug 30th, 2005 10:45 pm. I have accepted a Software Development Engineer position at Amazon. I will be moving to Seattle and starting work at the end of September. Everyone I spoke to was very smart and enthusiastic about working at Amazon. The recruitment process was positive, but longer than expected - I had eight different interviews with engineers and technical managers, plus four different recruiters. I regret having to leave Adknowledge. 2005-08-31 04:27 am (UTC).

Back in Kansas City - David Phillips

Back in Kansas City - David Phillips. Back in Kansas City. Mar 19th, 2006 12:49 pm. This may come as a shock to all three of you who read this, but I am back in the Kansas City area. On December 30, exactly three months after I started, I left Amazon and moved back to Kansas City to continue working at Adknowledge. My condo in Leawood did not sell after being on the market for three and a half months, so I was able to move back into it. 2006-03-19 08:52 pm (UTC). Well - welcome home, then. :).

The Unfathomable Dr. Mongoose (. The Unfathomable Dr. Mongoose. Reminded me of one of the most awesome products for help in maintaining your bike- the Colortune. Actually, it was. Who told me about these in the first place. Pretty much, it's like a sparkplug with a clear ring around the base. The color of the flame tells you whether you're running rich, lean, or intermittently. It may seem a little pricey, but it takes so much of the guesswork out of "what's wrong with my engine? Post a new comment.

Leader fall on a slab - Climber
http://climb-high.livejournal.com/225047.html
Leader fall on a slab - Climber. Leader fall on a slab. Oct 13th, 2008 12:36 pm. Is there a good way to take a fall on a slab - and to avoid the sand paper effect? Basically, every time I take a fall more then 2' on a slab it ends the climbing day. I took a friend out yesterday to teach him to lead, he took a 10' fall and that was that - one hand completely scraped off. Is there a proper technique which will help avoid that? 2008-10-14 01:24 am (UTC). 2008-10-14 02:33 am (UTC). 2008-10-14 02:58 am (UTC).

Questions? - Climber

Jan 26th, 2009 02:24 am. 1 Is it normal for someone who climbs to weigh as much as I do? 2 What things can I do to reduce overall weight? 3 I recently blew through a pair of Evolv Pontas in like 2 or 3 months. I blew the toe out. Is this normal? How does Evolv's rubber stand up to 5.10s since I just bought a pair of Anasazi Verdes? 4 What things can I do to become an overall better climber? 2009-01-26 08:27 am (UTC). 2 Go to a dietitian - it is what they are for :). 2009-01-26 04:14 pm (UTC). Slot Canyons - Climber
http://climb-high.livejournal.com/226871.html
Slot Canyons - Climber. Apr 15th, 2009 11:36 am. Not exactly a climbing question, but related :). We are planning a short trip the first weekend in May. We wanted to go see the slot canyons, but we are kind of limited with time - since we are only taking 3 days - and don't want to spend most of the weekend driving from the airport to the destination (we are in SF). Would anyone have good advice on what we should do? I'm still trying to figure out closest airports etc to these destinations.
