Thursday, July 23. The kids and I went camping last month and I never took the time to write about it here! We went when there were wildfires raging in both Willow (near our beloved South Rolly Campground. From last summer) and down on the peninsula. Wednesday, April 29. We celebrated Stacy's 8th birthday last Friday and had her party on Saturday. Kelsey made her these colorful leggings which are right up Stacy's alley! Scott and I got her this microscope and her reaction was hilarious! This is SO COOL! Long pause} "What is it? She got the star treatment at school, too! I'm going on 37 and I've never had a birthday candle in my biscuits and gravy! We made a small cake for the birthday day dinner, as well. Here are some friends making pom pom critters.

Monday, July 13. We had such a fun week with my mom last week! On the way home from the airport we visited the conservation center. It was nice and sunny and we didn't want to waste it! They had fed the bears some fish near the bear boardwalk, so we got a nice, close view of them. The resident black bears are always a bit more shy than the brown bears. Tuesday, June 30. It's been a bit since I've posted. I've never taken big breaks like that, but this has shaped up to be a very fun-filled summer and sitting down at the computer has taken a back seat for a bit.
