Since it's not sold in Swedish stores in other form than jelly, we decided to give it a try and loved it. In danish, the language on most of the food packaging over there, black currants are called solbær, which translates to sun berries. Best name ever. 1000 g black currants. 125 g non-dairy margarine. Sunday, May 27, 2012. I got an allotment! It's about 7,5*10 m, which makes for a big space to grow stuff! Sadly, the ground hasn't been used for a long time so there's quit some work to do before it will be the home to growing veggies. This work will have to get done soon and quick! Starting to dig up the grass. I'm planning to post about my allotment and my balcony garden every Sunday, so I hope you'll enjoy reading about it! Friday, May 25, 2012. Friday, June 29, 2012. Icelanders, sourdough and chili pepper progress. I've started making bread with using sourdough again and I love it. Now I just need to find a schedule for my baking so that I can fit it in on work days as well. If you'e into bread, pretty photography and men with beards, you should check out these. Monday, July 30, 2012. Grow your own food, a cat, a dog and food souvenirs. Growing your own food is amazing. This summer has been a horrible one weather wise, with rain almost every day for months, and ridiculously low temperatures. There has been a few good hours in between, and last week was great, so some harvest have been possible. Above are radishes from a container on the balcony. Smells divine, tastes OK. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. It took me some time to come up with a topic for today's post. I've been out hiking all day, so the cooking hasn't been very exciting. I thought about writing about hiking-food, but maybe some other time. Because really, who doesn't love donuts? OK, OK, I'm sure someone will write and tell me they don't, but come on, it's deep fried dough that is glazed with something yummy afterwords. They're lovable. Thursday, May 8, 2014. PB J Mousse Bars. Ah, PB and J the classic combo we've all grown to love. I can't even remember the last time I had a PB and J sandwich. These days you can find peanut butter and jelly in everything, such as pancakes, cupcakes, ice cream and even as poutine! I came across Peanut Butter and Jelly Mousse Bars from Peaceful Plate. Książkę z serii Terytoria Skandynawii, którą bardzo lubię, wydaną przez Słowo/Obraz/Terytoria. To powieśc psychologiczna, chociaż poczatkowo myślałam, że kryminalna. Zaczyna się bowiem od znalezienia szkieletu w grocie koło plaży. Klimatem przypomina mi trochę powieść Hakana Nessera Kim Novak nigdy nie wykąpała się w jeziorze Genezaret. Oraz Do utraty tchu.
