Monday, May 23, 2011. Sundays are special in Sicily. As we have mentioned before, the day is normally spent with family, having a nice, long and often boisterous lunch full of laughter and good food. It tells the story of the arrival of cinema in a small Sicilian village, and the impact this has on one young boy. Thursday, June 9, 2011. As the water level in the tank got lower and lower, we went from being careful with how much water we were using, to being extreme water savers. In hindsight it was quite comical when we all turned into the water police, eating out of disposable plates, cooking with mineral water and sharing flushes (yes, we did! We got everybody to “raggarduscha” and we were already making plans for how we will shower with mineral water or in the local village fountain. Posted by A J I.

Trots att jag inte direkt kan fatta det ännu, befinner jag och familjen mig på Sicilien för en tid framöver. För mig har det alltid varit lite av en dröm att en dag bosätta mig i Italien och lära mig italienska, ett språk så vackert, passionerat och musikaliskt som dessutom ligger nära mitt eget hemspråk, rumänska.
