Monday, September 14, 2009. Ok So its been a big few weeks for me. I ended up heading to NZ for work. Conference. And in all of its fully catered glory, I still managed to diet. Sort of. First day I headed out to the supermarket to stock up on muesli, tuna and vita weats. Diet staples. I also found NZ has canned chicken. Low fat. Phwoar! Monday, March 8, 2010. I have been doing bootcamp for the last 6 weeks. It has been a hell of a lot of fun, but I haven't been taking my diet seriously enough. I know, I know. A treat here, a snack there. I rationalise that 'normal' people can do it, why can't I? Well, I'm not normal. I can't do these things. So For the next 7 weeks, until I get fitness tested again, here is my basic plan. Museli w/ skim milk. Both with fruit and maybe some almonds. Coffee or green tea. Maximum 3 cafe coffees per week.

She is, without a doubt, a major inspiration for me and the whole "get fit, get healthy, get rid of the fat (both on my body and in my head)" lifestyle change that I've been on for a while now. I'm doing things a bit slower than Steph - partly because I'm flat broke and can't get to a gym. But. the four teams I now belong to for netball are definitely working out for me.
