Joy opened her music business in 1988 in Illinois until October 1996 when she had an opportunity in Cluj Napoca, Romania to teach private piano and voice lessions from 1996-2004 and went on to Gdynia/Gdansk, Poland from 2004-2008 to teach and perform. Traveling with her husband and 3 children they moved back to Illinois to settle in Champaign, Illinois. Joy reopened her music business in 2008 serving all near by areas around Champaign.

It was the 2nd time in our 11 years in the neighborhood. Some times I feel like our neighborhood is constantly overturning people. We loved the first owners! And, then… they moved.
