Tuesday, September 30, 2008. A Day in Provence. Hi, everyone, sorry it's taken me a while to post, but I wanted to wait until after my trip on Saturday. The AUCP sponsored a "field trip" to three Provençal villages. There were a lot of olive trees around the city, so I took a picture of a few olives still glistening with the morning dew. Also, here's a photo of a fountain in Lourmarin. The three men each grew a beard from the build up of mineral deposits and algae. Here's a photo of the sand sculptures:.

Tuesday, October 7, 2008. I visited Arles this weekend with the AUCP, but it wasn't really that exciting. We spent most of the day looking at old Roman things that I didn't properly appreciate. Here's a picture of the Arles coliseum that the city now uses for bullfighting. You can see some of the bleachers in the top right corner. Since the Van Gogh cafe was the coolest thing we saw, I think the field trip with my art teacher will be much better. Salsaespecially Jacala's and Mia's. Posted by Emily Brown.

Joe and I did all the tourist things in Paris (i.e. the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and of course, the Army Museum).
