My old youth pastor taught me that when we read God’s word we need to always look for the commands and promises. I always have tried to do this in my study of God’s word and it has always enhanced it. That is a massively broad statement. The more I dwell on it the deeper I realize it is. You have to break it down to really grasp all that is there. 2 Love God with ALL your heart. 3 Love God with ALL your soul.
