Monday, September 12, 2011. I don't have too many pictures from this particular weekend, but we spent 9/11 down in San Diego and went to the tidepools and really enjoyed the day together. Mo caught a crab - the kids thought it was awesome! We observed him for a while and then put him back in his home. Broken Foot {insert sad face here}. He's in that thing for a total of 4 weeks! Wednesday, August 31, 2011. San Diego - Coronado Island. We decided to go see the Hoover Dam on the way to California. It's something we've attempted to see in the past a few times but never *quite* made it! I was happy we got to do it this time. It was really neat. I used to work for the Bureau of Reclamation so it was interesting to see what they are doing down there! It was a loooong way down! Inside on the tour - it was really interesting! Quite sure what Ben is doing with his arm! I love my Grandma!

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. New Year's in San Diego! We decided to spend New Years with friends in San Diego this year. We usually just stay home, but I'm so glad we didn't! New Year's Eve is my birthday and on that morning, everyone was being super secretive about something. And then they surprised me with a ticket to see Cavalia and I LOVED it! I never expect anything on my birthday. I really just enjoy time with family and friends, but it was really a nice surprise! I think she's ready for the party!
