http://traininglognovicemarathoner.blogspot.com/2007/09/my-first-19-miler.html
Long run after my longest long run. My First 19 miler! Sunday, September 30, 2007. My First 19 miler! Date: 22nd Sept 2007. Trail : Oracle Trail. Time: 04 hrs 20 min. I am very glad that I successfully completed my 19 mile run yesterday. I feel that I have overcome a psychological barrier in regard to my preparation towards the Silicon Valley Marathon. With 6 more weeks to go, this gives me confidence that I would be able complete the marathon. Posted by Srinivas Dhanraj. September 30, 2007 at 11:03 AM.

Training Log: Long run after my longest long run
http://traininglognovicemarathoner.blogspot.com/2007/09/long-run-after-longest-long-run.html
Long run after my longest long run. My First 19 miler! Sunday, September 30, 2007. Long run after my longest long run. Date: 29th Sept 2007. Trail : Alameda Creek Trail. Time: 04 hrs 16 min. This was a long run after my longest run. My legs had not totally recovered from last week's run. Waking up @ 5:30 AM in the morning I wasn't feeling my best. But I had decided that I would not find any reasons to skip the run. Reason - if I could run this week, it would be a good test of my endurance.

Saturday, November 3, 2007. Date: 27th Oct 2007. Trail : Alameda Creek Trail. Time: 01 hr 40 min. On 28th Oct, I went to Roadrunner's shoe store to check with them if shoes is playing any part in the pain. The guy there said that the shoes could very well be an issue. The New balance motion control shoe I got was a heavier one and for my body weight, it was not the right one. With no second thoughts changed the shoes. The guy suggested me Asics Evolution Gel. Training Log: Longest ever? May be not!!
http://traininglognovicemarathoner.blogspot.com/2007/10/longest-ever.html
Saturday, October 13, 2007. Date: 13th Oct 2007. Trail : Alameda Creek Trail. Target Mileage: 22 miles Ran 19 miles. Time: 04 hrs 30 min. Though the last long run was short, pain in my left leg calf persisted. But for me, this run was very important. Started slow with 13 mile/min pace and ran for 13 miles with almost with that pace. After that I wasn't sure how long I would able to run. Pushing myself I was able to complete 19 miles. Posted by Srinivas Dhanraj. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
