Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Your Childcare Provider is not out to rip you off. You must make SO MUCH MONEY! Um… OK… aside from just being plain old tacky and rude to say such a thing, the very idea that any childcare provider makes “SO MUCH MONEY! 8221; is utterly absurd. I was so taken aback by her comment, that I could do little but just say something about how my rates were fairly standard, and uh… well, there are a lot of expenses involved. And so on, and so on. Welcome to my little blog! For us, homesc...

Sunday, July 11, 2010. Mom vs. The Insurance Company. I’ve spent the better part of the last two weeks on the phone. Mostly, I have been on the phone with various neuropsychology and developmental specialists offices and my insurance company, having pretty much the same conversation, over and over. For those of you who have been following our adventures with Harry. I also know of a special education advocate, however I don’t think I can afford her (back to money, once again.). Saturday, February 27, 2010. The only thing they ended up arguing about was the list of famous people from England that they chose to include. Annabelle felt there were too many men on the list, and not enough females! They worked it out though, and with the addition of Julie Andrews and J.K. Rowling, all was peaceful once again. Here are Annabelle and Theo with their display at the fair:. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Full House, and Celebrating our Heritage. This week we have a full house, around here!

Saturday, April 24, 2010. We've had a very busy week! We also participated in our homeschool group's History Fair this week. Or rather, Theo did! My older kids really enjoy participating in our homeschool fairs, but it's always a challenge to keep my youngest occupied. However, he was pretty well-behaved for this one! He spent most of his time under the table with a stack of library books. At one point, he was joined by several other younger siblings. it was quite adorable. I think he's a little excited!
