The last three weeks before I left Liberty Lake were brutal. Being a single parent during the whole process was probably the hardest part. My brother happened to call me at a weak moment and realized that me and the kids needed some Rico time so he came out Memorial Weekend. The days were long, like 12 hours and longer. I have never seen him so dedicated and stressed in my whole life. Week after week he would kill it. I'm not sure how we didn't get a picture of JT and that makes me sad. He is a great guy who was such a huge help to us and a good friend to Aric. He was quite the comedian, which is no surprise.

Autumn has arrived and so has one of my favorite activities. I love to watch geese flying in formation. I used to jealous of their flight, knowing that the were heading to warm climes. Now I don't envy their journey; I know how arduous it must be. Now, I marvel at the teamwork and support. That doesn't typically happen.
