Nursery Blog: Stockwood Park

http://www.nurseryblog-stdominic.blogspot.com/2015/06/stockwood-park.html

Sunday, 21 June 2015. Fun on the coach. Playing on the large stones. Listening to a story about a squirrel that got stuck. Making a minibeast mask. And finally fun in the play park before coming home. On Friday we enjoyed "Free Flow Friday" as the nursery children used both the reception and nursery classrooms dung "explore and learn.". Here are a few of the other things we have done this week. I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://www.nurseryblog-stdominic.blogspot.com/2015/06/sand-and-water.html

We have seen how sand changes when we add water and tried building sandcastles with dry and wet sand to find out which is better. In art we had lots of fun diluting paint with water and then spraying the paint and watching how it ran down the paper. Here are a few of the other things we have done this week. Have a lovely weekend. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Friday, 30 January 2015. We have had a lovely week taking part in activities relating to the film “Frozen.” We have talked about how ice is made and tried picking up and counting ice cubes using tweezers as well as building up our muscles trying to break up a big block of ice. We watched a clip from the film when Olaf dreams about living in a sunny place and talked about why this wouldn’t be possible. We have also enjoyed lots of singing and listened to songs from the film in Japanese and. This week we h...

Nursery Blog: September 2014

http://www.nurseryblog-stdominic.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html

Friday, 26 September 2014. We started the week by thinking about all the things we could use our hands for. Nursery came up with a long list including eating, washing, sharing a puzzle, putting on gloves , holding a baby and getting messy! NurseryBlog » Handy Garden & Plant tips and advice

Handy Garden and Plant tips and advice. I found my thrills on Blueberry Hill. August 1, 2017. Yes, it was back up the hills on our annual sojourn, to pick up some blueberry plants. This year we are picking up only 101 advanced Brigitta’s in 30cm pots. They would fill the bottom of the truck and some of them are about waist height, so stacking them on trolleys was not an option. And have a few different pruning saws, but the Felco is always the first to go from the shed. This post has no tag. Emmaline Bow...
