Dear To My Heart: My thoughts on the Stewardship of Mothers
http://wynkoopfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/my-thoughts-on-stewardship-of-mothers.html
Dear To My Heart. Thursday, May 10, 2012. My thoughts on the Stewardship of Mothers. In my circle of "friends", there are many women who are praying for their husband's heart to soften toward the idea of adding another child to their family. In my years of experience and observation, I've never really known of many husbands to go around saying to their wives, "Oh honey, I think we should do this, let's please add another child or two or three to our family! Not even among the good and Godly men. But here...

Dear To My Heart: August 2011
http://wynkoopfamily.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Dear To My Heart. Thursday, August 25, 2011. A SPECIAL REQUEST FOR ELLA. You all know where my heart is. You know I love these kids; my kids who are grown and their kids. and our little sons and daughters with Down syndrome. This is my mission in life. I love them all, and rejoice each time another little one with Down syndrome or other special needs is loved and embraced by a family! I've struggled with the fact. But this is also about saving lives in another way, so here goes:. The dog will be with her...

Jake & Alisa: June 2010
http://jamesjournals.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 15, 2010. We put Zowie in swim lessons this summer with Mandy Bailey. She was awesome! Zowie showed no fear. Zowie just wouldn't jump feet first. It was always a belly flop. Poor thing. She wanted to jump off the divingboard when none of the other girls wanted to. Like I said, no fear! Friday, June 11, 2010. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). IHOM: C# 4 Dynamics and XML
http://blog.mateli.ch/2011/04/c-4-dynamics-and-xml.html
Wednesday, April 20, 2011. C# 4 Dynamics and XML. I've seen a couple of cool libraries for using dynamics to magically access your JSON. I knew similar things must be available for XML, and went looking. At this point, my usage is focused on read-only access to xml, of varying styles. Values may arbitrarily be in attributes or child nodes. The two that I found that and decided to evaluate were Anoop Madhusudanan's ElasticObject. And Aaron Powell's Dynamics library. Here are some syntax comparisons:.

Dear To My Heart: Since October in one post
http://wynkoopfamily.blogspot.com/2012/04/since-october-in-one-post.html
Dear To My Heart. Friday, April 6, 2012. Since October in one post. We enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas, praise the Lord! This is one strong, wiry little guy! I fear being judged because of Timmy's dental state (they'll only clean them once a year under anesthesia), but I have to say, "unless you've walked a mile in my shoes." Timmy is a lovable and stubborn little boy! Ella has new glasses! Food This is one kid who knows how to make you feel good about making dinner! Having her come sit beside me like...

Willing Hearts: October 2010
http://willinghearts.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." Isaiah 58:10. Saturday, October 9, 2010. My Thoughts on the "Rules". Before I try to catch everyone up on our story, I thought I'd back up a minute and explain how we got here. If you are unfamiliar with international adoption, these are the rules I am talking about. 3 You should not adopt 2 unrelated children. I fully realize tha...

IHOM: Migrating Playcount info in Clementine
http://blog.mateli.ch/2011/05/migrating-playcount-info-in-clementine.html
Monday, May 23, 2011. Migrating Playcount info in Clementine. I used a free trial of RazorSQL for this - it's ok. Nothing to scream about, IMO, compared to PgAdmin III which I'm used to for this sort of thing. Extract the data from your db backup with a query like: SELECT title, artist, album, playcount, score FROM songs WHERE score 0;. Export the data to a tab-separated file. Convert it to a bunch of update statements with a regex. First replace all ' with '. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
