Saturday, January 2, 2010. Christmas was once again a great time spent with wonderful family that we are thankful to have. On Christmas Eve, we went over to Staci's for the traditional Howard family get together. On Christmas Day, we went over to Dreama's for the traditional Buttner family get together. As Big J says, our two families are like night and day, but we always enjoy the roller coaster ride through the holidays! Hopefully, I will get some photos posted soon. A Touch of Winter. Wednesday, June 2, 2010. And the Howard's started off the summer with a trip to the beach! The trip was a last minute decision, but it turned out to be an awesome getaway. This was Z's only second time to the beach, and she was too young the first time to remember much about it. She had a great time playing in the waves of the ocean with Daddy! When we weren't basking in the sun by the ocean, we stopped for a game of "golly golf" and we took some time to play in the many swimming pools at the hotel.

Friday, May 21, 2010. Wow, a Luau! Pre-K had a luau a few weeks ago. This was a great show for the parents to see! They started off outside with a PE show. The kids ran and jumped and went over and under things. Z started her course off with a bang, but could not finish without coming over to give Daddy a kiss. That was really cute. The kids then got dressed up in their island attire and moved to the stage where they sang their little hearts out. After the show, we all went to have a luau party!

Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. Yes, the Christmas season is in full swing in our town. For our family, this all gets started with the Christmas on the River and Grand Illumination celebration because Z's dance teacher choreographs the show and Z's class is in the show. Saturday, October 10, 2009. I haven't posted anything here in a while. We haven't really been up to much. It seems like it has rained here for at least a month straight! Just to catch up a little: Z is loving school and seems to be doing great, big J is still working a lot on the Stringer's Ridge effort, and I am still working part time and being mom. Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Princesses, Princes and.Superheros. Today was Z's Valentine's Day party at school. It was actually a King and Queen of Hearts party, so the children could dress up as princesses and princes, and even superheros! Each princess was escorted in by a prince- Z was escorted in by Spiderman! They then moved on to tear in to all of the sugar. The children were so cute all dressed up and they had a great time at their party. There are a few more photos in our Picasa Photo Albums.

Sunday, November 7, 2010. Fall so far has been incredibly busy at our house. Here are just a few highlights. Z is continuing dance classes this fall. Her group was asked to perform some German dances at Octoberfest this year. The mommy's of the little girls got suckered in to this one, too. So, Z and I performed for a small crowd at the market.
