Friday, July 4, 2008. You can observe a lot just by watching. You've got to be very careful if you don't know where you're going, because you might not get there. If you come to a fork in the road, take it. If you don't know where you are going, you will wind up somewhere else. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Coachomc: Franklin on Franklin-isms
http://coachomc.blogspot.com/2008/07/franklin-on-franklin-isms.html
Friday, July 4, 2008. A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body. All mankind is divided into three classes: those that are immovable, those that are movable, and those that move. An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do. Any society that would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both. Coachomc: Davis on mistakes and learning
http://coachomc.blogspot.com/2008/07/davis-on-mistakes-and-learning.html
Thursday, July 31, 2008. Davis on mistakes and learning. Do not fear mistakes- there are none. I learned so much from my cousin (Alexander). I think he did things the right way. That's how he made it to the NFL, . But the biggest thing I got from him was working hard and doing what ever you can to help the team. If you understood everything I say, you'd be me! Coachomc: Crane on Contentment
http://coachomc.blogspot.com/2008/07/crane-on-contentment.html
Friday, July 4, 2008. The mind is like a river; upon its waters thoughts float through in a constant procession every conscious moment. You stand on a bridge over it and can stop and turn back any thought that comes along. The art of contentment is to let no thought pass that is going to disturb you. Coachomc: Monroe on Talent & Little Girls
http://coachomc.blogspot.com/2008/07/monroe-on-talent-little-girls.html
Saturday, July 5, 2008. Monroe on Talent and Little Girls. My illusions didn't have anything to do with being a fine actress. I knew how third rate I was. I could actually feel my lack of talent, as if it were cheap clothes I was wearing inside. But, my God, how I wanted to learn, to change, to improve! No one ever told me I was pretty when I was a little girl. All little girls should be told they are pretty, even if they aren't. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Native American on Living.
