http://jenlongshaw.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
The latest work of New Zealand writer and artist Jen Longshaw. Friday, December 14, 2012. I'm Dreaming Of A Rich Christmas. Every year I promise myself that I'll begin preparing for the Hastings Community Arts Centre. Christmas Sale from January. Then suddenly we're into June and by the time I get anything half done it's October. The quilting will go into the to-do pile ;). I love the intensity of the in-your-face colours. Doesn't it ooze warmth. Joyful and exuberant :). Labels: English Paper Piecing. I love all the orange you used! It is by far my favorite color, people seem to be so reluctant to put it on their blocks though. I love it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The latest work of New Zealand writer and artist Jen Longshaw. Friday, March 15, 2013. Had another trip to the big smoke with the occasional Stud Muffin yesterday so I could spend time with my sis in law on her birthday during her lunch break. After a lovely vegetarian meal Mike and I finished our day with a visit to Rush Munro's. The pond at the entrance to the shop holds one of the most obese goldfish I've ever seen. Jen's Pen: April 2014
http://jenlongshaw.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
The latest work of New Zealand writer and artist Jen Longshaw. Thursday, April 10, 2014. My entry for this year's Art Hawkes Bay. Exhibition was the first under new group I began last year- the Tuki Tuki Art Collective. As usual there was the tough decision of what to paint as there was a category for horse paintings and there's nothing I like painting more than a good horse. Unless it's a portrait of a pretty red head. Lily" by Jen Longshaw. Flier for the 2014 Art Hawkes Bay Exhibition.

http://follyfarm.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Life In Rural New Zealand. Wednesday, March 04, 2015. Always a big girl Kit began losing weight. Kit and I taking a selfie. Her last photo. I cried. Mike cried. Even the vet looked unhappy but then he did have a broken collarbone. Later they brought her body out in a small white box with a blue dove stenciled on the lid and a bunch of dentata lavender sellotaped to the top. Later that day I buried Kit near Mishka my dog out near the big oak tree she loved to lie beneath. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://stitchingalways.blogspot.com/2014/06/crochet-flowers.html
Hand Embroidery Always. Love to Stitch.Gotta Stitch. Monday, June 09, 2014. While looking into what stitching I can do. Once we go mobile later this year, I resurrected my limited crocheting skills. So here are a few of the little flowers. That have been appearing around the place. Ive used fine wools and crochet cottons and embroidery threads. A few have ended up on the Angel hats.but. Wait there's more ;). What to do with flowers when you obsessively stitch like I do. Oh wow seth. Im really chuffed.
