The simplest way to describe those we minister is to refer to them as. Uprooted by the forces of war, violence, persecution, economic despair, famine, etc., the people we are called to serve have been displaced by a powerful mix of fear and hopelessness. Refugees are people like you and me, having a home, family, friends, work, possessions, traditions, culture and dreams. Because of persecution, war, famine, natural disasters or other factors, they feel forced to leave it all behind.

We offer many ministries at the Oasis. Some introduce the refugees to who we are, others meet their practical needs, while others are more evangelical in nature.
