KPRA-The Keller Peak Repeater Association
http://www.kpra.net/nets.html
The Keller Peak Repeater Association supports and encourages "Net" activities on our Repeater. Currently, there are five nets conducted either on a daily or weekly basis: The RedEye, Satern, Rescue, NTS and the Hospital Net. We would like to find two Commited Net Controllers to host the Trivia Net and Swap Net. Because of the 8000 foot elevation and geographical location of the repeater, nets conducted are heard virtually throughout the entire Southern California basin. 10:00 pm Mostly every night. Durin...

http://dirtypartsoffroad.blogspot.com/2011/11/2011-oausa-borregofest-anza-borrego.html
DOWN AND DIRTY WITH LARRY. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. 2011 OAUSA Borregofest, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, CA. The Anza-Borrego State Park is the largest state park in California. It encompasses an amazing expanse of desert wilderness, with many varieties of terrain, and it is one of my favorite areas to explore. No matter how many times I go, there is always a new area to explore, or an opportunity to re-explore. Ricardo Beceda's "Ode to Off-Roaders" Jeep sculpture.

Welcome to this journal of our adventures. Enjoy and thanks for visiting! Tuesday, July 21, 2015. For the goal-oriented, a hike up Tecolote Canyon might be frustrating because of a lack of distinct destinations and turnaround points. For families with small children, the first, flat mile of the canyon bottom is an easy way to go. The golf course clubhouse two miles out and a lovely tributary canyon at the 2.75-mile mark are two intermediate goals. One thing to note, if you don't like bees. There are ...

Welcome to this journal of our adventures. Enjoy and thanks for visiting! Sunday, April 5, 2015. Florida Canyon Nature Trails Balboa Park. The natural vegetation of Florida Canyon may appear scruffy and unkempt by comparison with the lushly (and artificially) landscaped acres of Balboa Park's west side. The aesthetic differences between the two sides of the park, however, are minimized during the spring months, when the canyon sides wear a new coat of fresh green growth and blooming wildflowers. Subscrib...

Welcome to this journal of our adventures. Enjoy and thanks for visiting! Sunday, October 19, 2014. Outdoor Adventure USA's 2014 BorregoFest. Carrizo Mountain and Southern Anza Borrego Tour. From El Cajon, I made my way Northeast along Interstate 8 and CA-79 to the touristy mountain town of Juilan, and then down the grade to Highway S2 and into camp. After a bit of socialization with some old and new friends around the campground, all the folks who had signed up for my run were soon lined up and read...

Welcome to this journal of our adventures. Enjoy and thanks for visiting! Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Upper Coyote Canyon, Middle Willows Hike ABDSP. With four days off work at the end of December, I figured I'd get an early start on my 52 Hike Challenge. Crossing the Pacific Crest Trail. I'd like to hike this in sections one of these days. Watch for this fork in the road. Adler Canyon has some nice areas to camp. Along the trail you can spot signs of Native American occupation. After parking my Jeep nea...
