A Warhammer Online Blog. Archive for September, 2008. Older Entries ». That’s Hot. (Shut up, Paris.). September 30, 2008. Due to “popular demand” and perhaps a liberal dose of “common sense”, Mythic has implemented cross-zone scenario queuing. This is one of those things that you can’t quite understand why it wasn’t in the game at release, other than they had a billion other things to do, or perhaps they were trying to reinforce the notion of you fighting and dying for a particular army. Soon enough, thi...

A Warhammer Online Blog. Laquo; The Headbanger. Patch 1.06 Pwns You. December 1, 2008. I’ve heard a few comments, here and there, floating along on the breeze like a guilty conscience, about the status of the next ChaosCast episode. Short answer is: it’s coming. Probably. Maybe. Running, editing and writing for my movie website, Mutant Reviewers From Hell. Making time to write in my spiritual blog, Watchman. Spending time with my wife. Working sometimes incredibly odd hours. Odd jobs around the house.

Soramimi Keki: Waaaaagh.
http://soramimikeki.blogspot.com/2008/10/waaaaagh.html
Sunday, October 5, 2008. That's about all I really need to say. I never thought I'd be playing Warhammer Online, much less loving the hell out of it. I've never liked PvP . but I'm having a ball with RvR. Not only that. I'm playing destruction! The roleplay is a bit lacking, though I largely blame Mythic for that. How the hell do you release a modern MMO without basics like /sit, /walk and social gathering spots? Yeah WAR. Rawr. Sorry LoTRO. . Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Gaming time spreads like butter. Easily, but thinly. That's right. I just compared my gaming time to butter. And not the low-fat kind either. I'm talking high octane stuff. Take THAT you video game hating, Excursion driving, soccer mom health nazis! Calls a cab in order to get back to the point*. Alts are horrible. Alts are wonderful. I love my witch elf, I love my sorcerer, and I'm going to end up playing around with the new tank classes when they come out. And then the guilt...

Soramimi Keki: How WAR saved me from WoW
http://soramimikeki.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-war-saved-me-from-wow.html
Thursday, October 16, 2008. How WAR saved me from WoW. Then that day came. The day I dread fairly often. My boyfriend, my gaming and roleplay partner, the love of my life said words that cut to my heart. I'm thinking about going back to WoW.". But I deemed the situation not quite at that level yet. Taking a sharp turn to the right my brain scrambled for something, anything to divert him from that terrible idea. "Sex! We can play Warhammer Online! I bought a copy of WAR the next day while my boyfriend was...
