It works because…. 1 ALL the kids are at school on Tuesday (including the BIG kid….well, he is at work). 2 I get a sense of achievement when I finish something (or several things) as I haven’t wasted the morning cleaning up the house. 3 I can plan during the week, gather supplies (or FIND them………) and look forward to checking things off of my SEW list. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. I painted this after the death of my beloved Jacob. Pets bring so much joy into our lives. Jake was the constant steady in my chaotic life. No matter how bad a day, I'd come home to that familiar face and all was right with the world again. Jake was the best dog that ever owned me. These are the misadventures of a Crafter extraordinaire! Monday, November 9, 2009. I've essentially decided to make two costumes. Yep, two. It means a lot of work, but it will satisfy both of my costuming wants. I sketched out this basic costume to start with. I'm basing it on peasant garb and will be using Simplicty 5582.
