Interestingly, the arguments asking to repeal such fees focused on how unimportant the music is to the profitability of the establishments in question, and how they might just do without if the fees continued to be charged. If it is so unimportant, why is it everywhere? Let us hope these same Congressmen who believe music is unimportant have the chance to hear us sing sometime soon...
