The three primary ocean dats sets, used on our web-site, are Sea Surface Temperature (SST), Sea Surface Velocity (SSV) from ship-drift measurements, and (near-)surface drifting buoy trajectories. The Florida current is a well-defined component of the Gulf Stream system. On the average, the inner edge is within 10 miles of Miami and Ft.
