Thursday, November 30, 2006. Had a busy few weeks leading up to my holidays. It's the best selling period as far as Avon is concerned and I generally hope to at least double my normal sales in the 2 or 3 brochures before Christmas. I do a few parties too where I show a good selection of products so this boosts my normal 'doorstep' customers. So right in the middle of this busiest time of the year for me, we go on holiday! I was doing quite well all in all until I lost to Burnley joes full house because i went off to the fridge to get a drink, came back and started playing without realising it had changed from razz to 7 card stud. Monday, July 17, 2006. Goal Poker World cup Ibiza VIP Party. I should have written about this ages ago as i've been back a week. I had a great weekend , drank quite a bit, met up with some PL members i knew and met up with some more i had only played against online. so it was great being able to put faces to the names . and for once I actually made a nice wee profit on the live games of poker Instead of going out on the bubble (3rd time ever playing live). In the end i finished 10th out of 72 . so i was first knocked out of the final table. Sunday, June 25, 2006. So Near and Yet So Far. Last night i ended up finishing 4th in the Poker Dome Qualifier. Unfortunately it's a winner takes all competition so i ended up with nothing, but getting 4th out of about 470ish players was another good result . Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Last weekend were the World Matchplay Qualifiers, and 2 Players Championship Events in Hayling Island. Despite having no form whatsoever, I played probably the best most consistant weekend of darts I've ever played. I was down to a 2 dart finish most legs after 12 darts, and if it wasn't for a few missed darts at doubles I'd have progressed deep in to the tournaments. Friday - Matchplay Qualifiers.
