From this day forward: New offer
http://ftdf.blogspot.com/2009/12/new-offer.html
From this day forward. Monday, December 14, 2009. After that first quick offer all had been quiet until today. Not that we haven't had plenty of showings. People have been constantly in and out . just no offers. Woo hoo! Now we've got our second. Mind you, I think it's from the realtor that showed up completely unexpectedly with her client. To their credit, they had. The home phone. Oh well. The house was not only not. Staged, it was a wreck! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

tasty tuesday: strange things that DO go in lasagna | laboratory tested
https://fireweaver.wordpress.com/2010/03/09/tasty-tuesday-strange-things-that-do-go-in-lasagna
If we already knew all the answers, we wouldn ’t call it research. 2 sentence movie reviews. Who’s writing this? March 9, 2010. Tasty tuesday: strange things that DO go in lasagna. A coworker was having a frozen microwave lunch of lasagna yesterday that smelled like heaven for all its lowly origins. after lunchtime, i promptly called Chris and told him we had the dinner plans for the evening all worked out: “you’re going to make me some lasagna, please,” and being a good guy, he did. Recipe to follow soon.

Was Over Cappuccino and Cola: Whitey on the moon
http://swellandsheepie.blogspot.com/2009/05/whitey-on-moon.html
Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Saturday, May 16, 2009. Whitey on the moon. Although there are a number of whities here, for the most part we're few and far between. Most of the whities here are wealthy. We are treated differently than the locals. We are treated much, much better in shops and restaurants than others. Often we are taken to the front of the line. We always have help if we need it in a shop. There was a point to this but I can't recall it now. So I'll have to come back to it. Love Letter to M...

Was Over Cappuccino and Cola: January 2009
http://swellandsheepie.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Saturday, January 24, 2009. How to call us. If you're desperate to talk to us this is how you can contact us from the US/Canada. 011 679 9 860 3850. It is interesting to note that our country here just recently instituted 7. Digit dialing. You read that right. SEVEN. Everywhere else is moving to 10 digit dialing and we've just changed to 7. I hope the above number works. We struggled with getting you the right number when we were in Palestine. Still alive. Still here. It is ...

Was Over Cappuccino and Cola: An Update for the Sake of Updates
http://swellandsheepie.blogspot.com/2009/05/update-for-sake-of-updates.html
Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Thursday, May 14, 2009. An Update for the Sake of Updates. So, where to begin? I guess the best place to begin would be the beginning. Where it all began. The problem with this beginning is that this beginning is the same as the present and will most likely be the same as the end. This story has no beginning. It has no middle. It has no end in sight. We are. We breathe. We eat. We sleep. We "work". That is what we do. That is who we are. No more. No less. We have yet to repl...

Was Over Cappuccino and Cola: March 2009
http://swellandsheepie.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Friday, March 27, 2009. So as most of you know last weekend was a long weekend here. Something to do with "National Youth Day". We were excited for the long weekend and decided to get away from the hustle and bustle of the capital here. We went for a really cheap 45 minute bus ride (on which they were showing the movie Predator! To the nearest beach town. Not much of a town. A few shops but we weren't there for the shops we were there for the resort - The Pearl. December 22-...

Was Over Cappuccino and Cola: May 2009
http://swellandsheepie.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Monday, May 25, 2009. We’ve lived in 7 houses in 5 cites in 3 countries. We’ve been around the world visiting at least 11 different countries. We’ve had scary train rides in Egypt and scary windstorms in Palestine. We’ve had to duck in our dilapidated van as we heard gunshots in Palestine. We’ve enjoyed sunsets in Maui and no sunsets in Nome. We’ve had to listen to a woman have a very difficult miscarriage while we were trying to sleep in the clinic in Alaska. It is basicall...

Was Over Cappuccino and Cola: April 2009
http://swellandsheepie.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Was Over Cappuccino and Cola. Saturday, April 25, 2009. Our hearts and thoughts go out to the Lauer family as they mourn the loss of their father and husband. Last Easter we were lucky enough to share a meal with the Lauer family at their home in Maui. Unfortunately the day after our meal together Kit was diagnosed with leukemia. Story here. He remained a man of great faith throughout his fight but was called home earlier today. The following picture was taken at the train station. Sunday, April 19, 2009.
