Tuesday, January 20, 2009. I had a friend, whose boss lost his licence. The boss made driving him around part of my friend's job description. One day she got a fine, which she couldn't afford to pay, and she lost her licence. Subsequently, she lost her job and the boss got another one of his employees to drive him around. A one-hundred-dollar fine means poverty for one man and nothing to another. It's a sad story and illustrates the unfairness of fines. Let's make every fine have two parts:. 너는 밤색 모자를 이긴다.

Wednesday, 1 October 2008. Here's my belated photo-essay from Green Island. It ranks among my top place to see in Taiwan. I'm going to focus here on the natural beauty of the place,. And too much on our endeavours,. Or the events that led to Roisin's injuries. These are some of my favourite signs. The beaches are not all that great for swimming. But once you get past the rocks the fish are awesome. Does anyone else see anything wrong with this? And here some more pics of those crazy guys out "snorkelling".

The differences are subtle, but noticeable in this cultural experience that has been enjoyed around the world for nearly a century. Walking into the Multiplex on Istaklal, you could be anywhere in the world. Dark tones juxtaposed by bright lights and brighter movie posters. Extortionate prices for stale popcorn and sugar water.
