Sub-Saharan Africa – The Sudan and Egypt. Sub-Saharan Africa –. The Sudan and Egypt. Before I begin I have a confession to make. I write this to you from Kenya, far beyond the fringes of the Saharan Africa that I visited. So now I find myself having to search within my poor excuse of a memory to find the trials and adventures that made my time in Saharan Africa the unforgettable experience it was. . The Sudan. . It sounds so cool doesn't it? The Sudan, The. The biggest issues being country borderlines ...

So we start in Kenya, after returning to this country over half a dozen times now I return to say my last farewell to Kenya within this trip. . This entry into Kenya lasted 6 weeks and was spent in my hometown of Watamu! They say home is where the heart is don't they? Well I certainly think that Watamu has my heart. . And what a joy it is to again meet with some old friends. . I guess...

Africaman: The Horn of Africa - Djibouti and Somalia
http://theafricaman.blogspot.com/2011/09/horn-of-africa-djibouti-and-somalia.html
The Horn of Africa - Djibouti and Somalia. Djibouti is a small, unknown country and a short, yet interesting part of my trip so far. Djibouti for me was always going to be about one thing. The Lakes. . Djibouti has 2 famous lakes. The first and most famous being Lac Assal and for good reason, you see Lac Assal is Africa's lowest point. . And of course after visiting Africa's highest point, a trip to this famous salt lake was a must in my African adventure! And took a space shuttle to Mars! Crystals for...

The start of ‘The Journey South’. So the journey back down is well and truly underway and with a bit of a stumble at the start I'm now back on track. (The stumble being a medical condition which caused my return to Ethiopia to be one of nothing but rest and relaxation.). An unfortunate circumstance but hey it could have been worse. Ethiopia then, has been and gone and I make my way further south and return to my second home. I'm back in Kenya once again! I'll take you back to the beginning. When I got ho...
