Sehr früh am Morgen verließen wir unser Hotel in Phnom Penh und fuhren mit dem Tuktuk zum chaotischen Busbahnhof, der Erinnerungen an Zentralamerika wach werden ließ. Nach einiger Zeit fanden wir unseren Bus nach Battambang und gegen 07:30 verließen wir die Hauptstadt Kambodschas in Richtung Nordwesten. Die gut sechsstündige Fahrt nach Battambang.
