水環境を含めた地球表層環境の進化と人間社会への影響 を発展させ、地球全体が今日の生物圏を含めた地球環境を作っているという WHOLE EARTH 物質循環と地球表層環境の進化 を探求し、新しいパラダイムに到達したいと思っています。 Http:/ www.nenv.k.u-tokyo.ac.jp/index.html. また，沈み込み帯の流体は、岩石変形 温度構造 物質循環に大きな影響を与えるため、冷湧水、泥火山、メタンハイドレートといった流体 ガス移動を示す浅部 表層の現行地質現象の研究を行なっています。 私は、沈み込み帯の変形 物質循環の素過程が実際にはどのようなものであるかを、深海掘削 海洋探査 陸上調査を総合しつつ、力学的側面と化学的側面の双方から迫っていきたいと考えています。 金属元素の安定同位体比と存在状態から、 地質時代の海洋で金属が何によって供給 除去され、どのような濃度で、どのような影響を及ぼし、どのような時間変化をしたのか を詳細に知ることで、 金属 と 地球環境の進化 の関係性を明らかにしたいと考えています。 H M Zakir Hossain.
