My workshop is equipped with modern machinery and traditional hand tools. Many of these have been passed down through my family. I served a traditional 5-year apprenticeship as a patternmaker in wood, a trade linked to the foundry industry. This followed a family line of three generations of woodworkers. I then worked in five foundries, making castings in iron alloys, aluminium, bronze and exotic aerospace alloys. I love engaging my clients in the design and finish, making each piece truly personal.

Graham is the third generation of his family to use many of his tools. He is noted for the way in which he builds relationships with his customers - involving them in the design of their products; whether sculptural pieces or bespoke woodwork such as doors, gates, shelving or a unique oak dining table.

I grew up in a rural village in the Chilterns near beechwoods, chalk streams and downland. In childhood I developed an interest in natural history, kindled by my father.
