Thursday, May 22, 2014. Container Gardening on an Apartment Balcony. Today I planted all my peppers,. Italian sweet peppers and hot cherry peppers. I've watered them, but because the soil was so dry when I planted them, I'll go out again later and water them more. If I have the energy. I will go out later and put in the rest of the lettuce and. I'll stick in the marigolds here and there. I'm hoping they will help reduce the naughty bugs. Really! Have you EVER seen bugs chewing up a marigold?

O'grady's Public House in Yorktown Heights, Ny
Our beloved grandmother, Catherine O’Grady, migrated from Ireland to the United States in 1908. It was quite a change from the county of Roscommon, Town land of Cloondarcarra Beg. She began working as a housekeeper at the esteemed Rockefeller Estate in Westchester County, where a young gentleman by the name of Irving Sherwood immediately won her heart. On October 10, 1909 Catherine married the love of her life. Family grew rapidly in a true Irish fashion . 1927 Commerce Street, Yorktown Heights.
