Friday, October 30, 2009. Ray Winstone, giant sea creature. With the right amount of playfulness Beowulf could have been an over-the-top action fest. An animated Conan The Barbarian if you will. But entertaining. Instead it turned out to be a piece of crap filled with clunky dialogue and poor mocap. The shows in my mind. Saturday, November 14, 2009. It's the end of the world. I haven't written anything here in over a month. Instead I have focused on fiction, and have written quite a bit, to my surprise. So I have decided to close the shutters on the window into The Shows in My Mind. For now at least. Why keep a blog if I never write here? I may open it back up at some point, I may not. Time will tell. Thanks to those who have read and commented, though there weren't that many of either kind.

Man of a decade. 00-talet måste vara någon sorts filmhögtid för Döden. Han snor Ingmar Bergman, Marlon Brando, Heath Ledger, Michael Jackson, Frasiers hund Eddie. och nu John Hughes. Som kanske är mest känd för sina klockrena highschool filmer. Om det fanns någon som faktiskt kunde göra den genren bra var det han. Ferris Bueller Day's Off. Är två filmer jag kan se om hur många gånger som helst. Manusen (lär ju inte böjas så) är smarta, roliga och hur kliché det än låter - tidlösa. Wright here, Wright now.
