Running With Scissors: Build My Own House
http://www.running-w-scissors.com/2014/03/build-my-own-house.html
Build My Own House. So the huge project I alluded to in the sweatshirt post is. We haven't started digging and I already have a headache. So About a year ago, a week after I gave birth to Izzie to be precise, my husband and I started designing the floor plans. We went through every nook and cranny as a team and had an architect render it digitally and make it official. We thought we'd start last summer, but life and finances destroyed that idea. So building a house. A dream and lifelong goal. My husband ...

De-Cluttering the Pantry/Kitchen
http://theeverythingscene.com/2013/09/de-cluttering-pantrykitchen.html
A Little Bit of Everything. September 5, 2013. I’m following Mary Organizes. De-Cluttering challenge. I posted about it here. This week was the kitchen/pantry areas. I was able to get to the pantry so far. It feels really good to de-clutter/organize this pantry. It’s been like this for months now and I needed something to kick me in the butt to make me finally do it. I have more areas to get to in the kitchen, but wasn’t able to completely follow Mary’s schedule 100%. Thanks for stopping by everyone!

http://thelilhousethatcould.com/2013/10/30/fall-sprucing
The lil house that could. October 30th, 2013. Long time, no blog? I figured I’d jump back on the blogging wagon with some simple seasonal decorating. I’m not really one to go big for most holidays except for Christmas, but I love a little Fall decor. We host Thanksgiving each year, so I keep things fall neutral to get a good 2 month stretch out of everything. You may have noticed that we also changed out our (off center) porch light for this one from amazon. Apparently, I lost steam once I got to the ins...

Gingham Cherry: How to Make an Easy Rolling Clothes Hamper
http://ginghamcherry.blogspot.com/2014/03/this-is-quick-little-fix-for-our.html
Thursday, March 13, 2014. How to Make an Easy Rolling Clothes Hamper. This is a quick little fix for our laundry room (cupboard) that is one of those things that just niggled at me. I found these washers that are a decent size but with a smaller central hole (got them at Home Depot) as I thought they would hold the plastic down better than just the screws. I bought four of these small c...

I'm Always Nesting: Half-Bathroom Reveal
http://imalwaysnesting.blogspot.com/2014/04/half-bathroom-reveal.html
It's been a long time comin'! This little space is not 100% complete, but with the exception of a window treatment, it's ready to be enjoyed. Months ago, I had to take a long break from my living room projects. When our tile installer called on a Friday and asked us if we would be ready for our new floor to begin installation on Monday. We couldn't say no. We had been waiting a year or so to get this situation. So, after dreaming and pinning from inspiring blogs, I created a design board. I had painted t...
