Letters to the Editor. THE ONE YOU TURN TO. August 11, 2015. Vandals and thieves attack five businesses. August 4, 2015. August 1, 2015. Homes in Joy Rd. area in danger. July 31, 2015. A home on Joy Road in Penticton, as well as a gazebo and garage on the property, burned to the ground Friday. Emergency personnel were on site by 7:15 am and the fire was contained. No injuries were reported, and the fire did not spread. Sources: Skylar Noe- Vack and Castanet. Funds found for Penticton Creek restoration.
