Sunday, November 18, 2012. I'm not a plotter. It took three attempts, but I think I may have finally found my way into this story. I only have one page (388 words) but I wrote about 1200 words to get there. Yeesh! I feel like I'm getting back on a bicycle after not having ridden in far too long. Today, I remembered how to work the pedals and get moving. I'm enjoying the ride and taking in the scenery. Pretty soon, though, I'll have to figure out how to steer. Monday, November 7, 2011. Zamami Island, about two hours west of Naha (Okinawa) by fast ferry, is in the Kerama island group. Among the island's many charms is the fact that it does not host the deadly. Snakes found on Okinawa proper. Yonaguni is also. An Ancient Earthquake (Zamami Island). The two dark stripes and their discontinuities tell of earthquakes that happened in ancient days. The larger right/left discrepancy is close to one foot. The one above that is a few inches.
