There’s still lots of drama – Es ist immer noch dramatisch! | Back To The Roots

https://oldcountryrevisited.wordpress.com/2015/05/05/theres-still-lots-of-drama-es-ist-immer-noch-dramatisch

Back To The Roots. There’s still lots of drama – Es ist immer noch dramatisch! Asymp; 2 Comments. I took those pictures on the way back from Grande Prairie, and I am still overwhelmed by the skies! Even though there is no riot of green and nothing really spectacular on the ground, the clouds more than make up for it. And did I mention that driving is very relaxed here? Einer meiner Wetterberichte zeigte heute uebrigens eine Schneefallwarnung, aber das muss sich wohl um einen Irrtum handeln…. Notify me of...

Back To The Roots. No permit, no neighbours, no police – Keine Erlaubnis, keine Nachbarn, keine Polizei. Asymp; Leave a comment. For my efforts to clean up some of the messes I left behind, what better support than a cleansing fire? I can make it fairly big, if I want to. And there will definitely be no neighbours to complain. Technically, I should have a fire permit, but it’s a little wet, so I am not too worried that a tower person sees the smoke and calls in the fire department. Larr; Previous post.

Back To The Roots. I am blessed… Was fuer ein Segen…. Asymp; 1 Comment. 8230; with great neighbour’s on both sides of the Atlantic🙂 As I was ploughing my way through overgrown nettles and brambles at the datscha with my Dad’s little lawn mower, my thermostat entirely kaput, Ida the self-appointed guard dog started barking, and here’s the neighbour boy with home-made frappucino plus nut triangles. A great excuse for taking a short break now. 8230; sind doch nette Nachbarn auf beiden Seiten des Atlantiks!

Back To The Roots. Alberta Spring Combo: Snow, a landslide and eagles overhead – Alberta-Fruehlings-Mix: Schnee, Erdrutsch und Adler. Asymp; 2 Comments. So turns out the snowfall warning wasn’t a lie. Yesterday morning, we woke up to this:. Die Schneefallwarnung war also doch kein Fehlalarm. Gestern Morgen sah es draussen so aus:. This is definitely not what the beekeeper needs at this time of the year, with new bees just in their hives and needing to be fed. But what can you do? This morning then I took...

8220;Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colours.” ― Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky. Saturday, 29 November 2014. Sightseeing in Downtown Munich. We are in Octoberfest Capital: Munich. Bavaria. Where beer gardens are plenty, where the music is oompah, and people are dressed up in weird garbs such as. We enter the pedestrian zone through Karlstor (in its core from year 1300). The New Town Hall. A daily gourmet farmer's market.

Mom became quite excited when she discovered all the low hanging fruit. There were apples, peas, yellow plums and purple plums. And before we could say stop, she was already in the orchard harvesting, or better "collecting samples" (well, scrumping isn't exactly legal but widely tolerated by the farmers). The abbey ru...

The German Railway system is very sensitive towards a few snowflakes, lower temperatures or weather as such. The "usual suspects" blamed for delays, interruptions or cancellations are too cold, too wet, or too hot weather conditions, or there may be leaves on the tracks. Eat this, Deutsche Bundesbahn!

After a rainy beginning of the day we skipped the idea of going for a scooter ride. The roads were slippery and we didn't want to take the risk. So half the day was spent with taking care of business a.k.a. house cleaning. And a refreshment was desperately needed. Tuesday, 21 April 2015. Thursday, 16 April 2015.
