I was meant to be doing it next week but as I was ready early they sprung it on me today - probably a good thing as I would have otherwise spent the weekend a bit worried about it. Oli, Rosie and Sid. Thursday, May 20, 2010. Last week Rosie while Rosie was away I went on a work trip to see the towers and areas I control. Not a lot of photos as most of the time was spent in bars and cafes but here's some scenery. Mt Maunganui and Tauranga was the first stop - the weather was pants. We had a night in Tauranga where we went out with some of the tower controllers, then drove down through Rotorua (quickly) and on to Taupo for a more quiet night out with the parachute jump guys.
