We are blessed to work in a team environment. El Refugio. Are a big part of what we do. We essentially have four different types of internships that we offer. Alturas. Is meant for native Spanish speakers and takes place for 10-12 weeks twice a year. Base Camp is our summer internship program for young adults from North America to experience our ministry, serve, and help with the summer teams that we host from the US each summer. 4x4. We also offer backpacking. We have traditional week-long youth camps.

We met at Concordia College during our freshman year. Introduced by a mutual friend, we were blessed to have a solid foundation of friendship and began dating in 2005. We spent the next year apart as Suzy was in Ecuador for an eight month internship through International Teams with Youth World (Jan. - Aug) and Jim spent a semester abroad in Tanzania (July - December). And enjoys both creating storylines with her toys indoors or running around outside with friends or on her own.
