Laura in Haiti: September 2011
http://ayeartoservehaiti.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 30, 2011. Our days are numbered. How did I dedicate myself to teaching them every day? How did I show them to love one another? Did I bring joy to their lives and each day encourage them to live a life of holiness? Only God will know that. So today and every day- hour by hour, moment by moment- I commit to God what is already His. Though we experience troubles and problems surround us, we hold fast to Yahweh, whom has ultimate authority over all creation. So teach us to number our days.

Monday, October 31, 2011. Madam's Monday- Venite Michaud. Venite Michaud is a madam here at OLTCH in charge of the boys' house. There are 16 boys under her and she is extremely great at caring for them. With her compassionate heart and silly personality, she brightens the lives of everyone here at OLTCH. Today, as watched tears stream down her face and listened as she shared her life with me, I became even more passionate about allowing the women's voices to be heard through this blog. My grandmother can...

http://ayeartoservehaiti.blogspot.com/p/donate.html
Be on the lookout for a big update on this page! For now, though, I'll stick with my current position. The Lord has allowed this ministry work to be supported by my family, friends churches and even complete strangers. Through them, God meets my needs and the needs of the orphanage so that His work may be done in Haiti. If you are interested in partnering with this ministry by supporting me financially, you can send a donation with a note indicating. Arlington Heights Baptist Church. Pascagoula, MS 39581.

Wednesday, October 3, 2012. My Children. God's Children. Page and click on My Children. There is a 3 part series I used to tell the story of how Elijah, Sandra and I became a family. I will be bouncing around a lot in this post to try and thoroughly communicate, and I hope this helps more than it confuses you. Will He take both children away? In my mind, my "yea...

http://ayeartoservehaiti.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. I wish I could tell you. I wish I could say all of these things, but I can't. I wish more than anything that I could type this blog post and have it be filled with encouraging words and some wonderful event that has happened in Haiti for every reader whose eyes meet this. Remind me of Your holiness. Remind me why I'm here. Remind me of Your tenderness. Remind me to never fear. Remind me of the bigger picture. Remind me of those You love. Keep me in Your arms until my dying day.

Tuesday, January 31, 2012. My Children- Part II. Sophonie did not come with plans of leaving Sandra, her second daughter, behind. If you've read my previous post My Children- Part I. You may remember Sophonie bringing us her first daughter, Valencia. When she came back with Sandra and I met and observed her for the first few days, I told Jasmine and Greg that I had hoped Sophonie would leave her here with us, too. Greg agreed and said he had been thinking the same thing. How is this going to work? I coul...
